QUAFL 2021 Location
For 2021, the Australian Quidditch Championships will be held at Melbourne's La Trobe Sports Park at La Trobe University on the 4th and 5th of December. After six consecutive wins by Melbourne based teams and six years away from Melbourne, this year, the championships return to Victoria.
This year looks to be the best QUAFL held to date. Boasting state of the art fields and facilities, Quidditch Australia is confident all our members shall enjoy this setting for our 10-year celebration event.
APPLY FOR THE QUAFL 2021 COMMITTEE
Quidditch Australia are looking for a dedicated organising team for QUAFL 2021. Senior roles shall be provided with a free social ticket along with a volunteer specific t-shirt. Junior roles shall be provided with a discounted social ticket along with a volunteer specific t-shirt. Both roles may also be provided with other benefits to be determined at a later time.

The Greater Sydney region will move to an amended Step 1B while suspension of play is lifted in Victoria. Newcastle and ACT remain unrestricted at Step 4. Please re-familiarise yourself with the responsibilities and recommendations outlined in the QARPP.

The board has capacity for up to eight people, with only six elected at the 2020 AGM and two appointed roles available. The position currently vacant on the Board is a General Member with a focus on Strategic Direction, meaning they will be working on the execution of the Strategic Plan developed throughout 2020.

The suspension of play in Victoria has been lifted and teams can train at Step 1B again! QLD and NSW have both returned to Step 4 and the bubble training system has been lifted in NSW. All states and territories except Victoria are now at Step 4 Restrictions, permitting resumption of competitive play with COVIDSafe policies and common sense practises in place.
