Chairperson: Rebecca Robb

Rebecca Robb is an appointed Director and Chairperson of Quadball Australia for 2026. She previously served on the Board from 2021 to 2023 before continuing her contribution to the sport at a state and community level.

Rebecca has held multiple volunteer roles with Quadball NSW and has supported the revitalisation of university-level quadball through a leadership position with Macquarie. Alongside her governance experience, she remains actively involved on the field, coaching and captaining the NSW Bluebottles, training with the Australian National Squad, contributing to the QA media committee, and documenting the sport through photography.

She brings a strong focus on sustainable governance, streamlined national administration, and fostering a connected, community-driven sporting environment.

Treasurer: Nicola Gertler

Nicola Gertler is an elected Director of Quadball Australia, re-elected at the 2025 AGM for a further two-year term, and continues as Treasurer. She has served on the Board since 2019, providing consistent financial oversight and governance experience.

Involved in Australian quadball since 2013, Nicola began with the Monash Muggles and has played a significant role in the sport’s growth, particularly in Victoria. She has held multiple Board roles with Quadball Victoria, represented the Victorian Leadbeaters at every State Shield, represented Australia in both playing and leadership capacities, and competed internationally with the Washington Admirals in the 2023 MLQ season.

Secretary: Oscar Cozens

Oscar Cozens is an appointed Director of Quadball Australia for 2026 and serves as Board Secretary.

A veteran player since 2014, Oscar brings over a decade of experience across club, state and national quadball. They have consistently held leadership roles within their Canberra-based clubs, reflecting a strong commitment to structure and sustainability at the community level. Oscar has competed at both state and national levels, including as part of the 2016 gold medal-winning Dropbears, the NSW Bluetongues in their formative years, and the ACT Rock Wallabies in 2025.

As Secretary, Oscar is focused on strengthening governance processes, improving administrative systems, and ensuring clear, consistent communication across the organisation.

Director: Alistair Yap

Alistair Yap is an appointed Director of Quadball Australia for 2026, returning to the Board after filling a casual vacancy in 2025. His work is largely focused on events and the overall growth of the sport, drawing on extensive experience in tournament delivery and gameplay operations.

One of Australia’s most experienced tournament directors, Alistair has led five Australian Quadball Club Championships and three State Shields. Internationally, he has supported major events including the 2023 and 2025 IQA World Cup, the 2024 Nations Cup, and the 2024 US Quadball Cup in roles spanning event management, gameplay coordination, and volunteer leadership. He also serves as an IQA Trustee, bringing valuable global insight to his national governance work.

Director: Charles Marpaung

Charles Marpaung joins the Quadball Australia Board in 2026 as an appointed Director, bringing significant passion and rapid growth within the sport despite only beginning his quadball journey in 2024. Known within the Canberra Gang-Gangs as their self‑proclaimed “General Vibes Manager,” Charles has quickly become recognised for his warmth, inclusivity, and commitment to team culture. His enthusiasm for both playing and supporting others has made him a standout presence within the Canberra community.

Beyond his impact as a teammate, Charles has embraced officiating, stepping into the role of Head Referee with confidence and a charismatic on‑pitch presence. His interests lie in strengthening player diversity and promoting transparency across the organisation; priorities he will carry into his work as a Director.

Director: Giacomo Agbugba

Giacomo Agbugba joins the Quadball Australia Board in 2026 as an appointed Director, bringing an extraordinary breadth of experience accumulated in just over three years in the sport. Known by many either through on‑field encounters or his distinctive voice behind the commentary mic, Giac has contributed to the Australian quadball community in multiple roles. His journey includes coaching the USYD Unspeakables, representing NSW as a player for the Bluebottles in 2023 and 2024, and returning in 2025 as their Head Coach. Internationally, he debuted with the Australian Auroras at the 2024 Nations Cup and later competed at the 2025 World Cup as part of the African Nations squad.

Giac’s diverse experience across playing, coaching, and commentary has shaped a broad perspective on the sport’s potential, both culturally and competitively. He describes his ambition as helping transition the quadball “product” into something fulfilling on the field while tapping into the community’s “latent vibes and swag.” With this blend of strategic thinking and vibrant community focus, Giac brings a dynamic voice to the 2026 Board.

Director: Jamie Turbet

Jamie Turbet returns to Quadball Australia in 2026 as an appointed Director, bringing extensive leadership experience from both national and international roles. She previously served on the Quadball Australia board from 2019 to 2023, guiding the community through the challenges of COVID-19, and later contributed globally as a Director for the International Quadball Association, including work on the 2025 World Cup in Belgium.

At home, Jamie is a cornerstone of the Canberra quadball scene, with her team, the Canberra Gang Gangs, marking a major milestone by attending the 2025 Australian Quadball Club Championships, the first Canberran team to compete since 2018. In 2026, she joins the Board as the Australian National Squad Liaison Officer and Membership Protection Officer, aiming to support club development and strengthen community connections nationwide.

Director: Justine Eyre

Justine Eyre is an elected Director of Quadball Australia, serving her 2025–2027 term. After previously serving as Board Secretary, Justine has stepped into a broader governance role focused on advancing the sport nationally, aiming to grow participation, increasing visibility, and strengthening the quadball community across Australia. She is also one of Quadball Australia’s two Membership Protection Officers.

Justine began playing in 2013 and has dedicated much of her time in the sport to volunteering at both club and state levels, including with the South Melbourne Centaurs and Quadball Victoria. She served as a QV Director (2018–2019) and has been President since 2020, as well as contributing internationally on the IQA Gameplay Committee (2022–2023). A State Shield representative for Victoria on the Honeyeaters and Leadbeaters, Justine brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to the sport’s long-term sustainability.
